We endeavour to remain both a dining and drinking pub where food, wine and beer are equally of paramount importance.

We are passionate in our enjoyment and understanding of food at The Vine Tree and enjoy a healthy relationship with the surrounding local farmers, gamekeepers and producers who help keep our kitchen interestingly stocked with their seasonal produce.

On Sundays we offer a comprehensive lunch and evening menu which always has 4 roasts including Roast Sirloin of Beef, literally from our neighbour’s next door farm, loin of Gloucestershire “Old Spot” Pork with crackling and home made apple sauce, Free Range Organic breast of chicken from nearby Newent with homemade bread sauce and roast rack of Cotswold Lamb with mint and apple jelly – plus several vegetarian and fresh fish/seafood dishes. Children can eat from the same menu at reduced cost.
